About Asher House Evanston

Asher Evanston is located in a four bedroom house just two blocks from the Northwestern campus, and one block from the Foster Street Elevated Light Rail Station (Chicago Transit Authority or CTA) with quick access to Chicago's Loop, most of Chicago's other universities, schools, and Wrigley Field!

Evanston is a campus town with quiet, tree-lined neighborhoods and an active downtown. From Asher, you can walk to the lakefront, public transportation, great restaurants, cinemas, theaters, shops, and a wonderful public library. We are about six blocks from Lake Michigan where you can run, bike or walk along the shoreline through Northwestern University to the north, or the city areas to the south. There are sandy beaches, parks, places to sail, kayak, and ice skate in the winter.

At Asher Evanston, each resident will have a single room. The House has wireless broadband Internet, a flatscreen HD television and DVR, and a basement laundry room.
