Residents' Responsibilities:

METAPHYSICALLY
Residents are responsible for contributing to the spiritual atmosphere of the House by their active efforts to live the teachings of Christian Science up to their highest demonstration. All residents will work to see each other and all mankind in the pure light of the Christ Science as perfect, spiritual ideas of God.

THOUGHTFULLY
Residents will endeavor to be considerate of each other's study and sleep habits, and will maintain a quiet atmosphere early in the morning and late in the evening, as well as for special study needs, such as exam time.

CULINARILY
Residents will be considerate of others’ use of the kitchen, and will share House utensils and dishes, as well as stove, microwave, etc. Each resident is responsible for returning all dirty dishes they have used to the kitchen (and washing them!)

HYGIENICALLY
Residents will share the cleaning duties of the house. Assignments are posted for kitchen and bathroom duty, as well as vacuuming and dusting needs in common areas. If residents all agree, they can hire someone to perform these duties, and are responsible for any fees incurred.
